Details

As you look through this collection you’ll be drawn in by its primitive magnetism!
The tribal tattoos we see today are inspired by traditional tattoos from the Pacific Islands and Polynesia (Samoa, Hawaii, Tonga and The Marquesas Islands…) as well as Maori culture, mainly concentrated in New Zealand. There are currently two main trends in tribal tattoos. One is for strictly tribal designs, made to mark key life moments, where every detail represents a precise symbolism.

The calf, shoulder blade or forearm are just a few examples of the many areas which are perfect for a tribal tattoo. In these pages you’ll see how the lines of each tattoo flow and follow the anatomy of the body. There is also an amazing gallery of Haida style tattoos, inspired by the native tribes of North America.
