Pedagogical psychology books tell us that if children draw people with large eyes they express curiosity, the desire to dominate reality, strength and vitality.

In the 1950s, the American painter Margaret Keane, developed the art-form known as “Big-eye”. Margaret loved to portray people, especially children, painting them with huge eyes. Later on Big-eye was influenced by gothic and fantasy styles and includes features that point to Japanese Manga.

Our special guest in this issue’s “Tattoo Artist” is from the Czech Republic: Ondrash, a great creative talent who uses his tattoo machine to paint genuine works of art on the skin.
