This issue sees the return of pirate themed tattoo designs, drawn in a realistic style by the highly talented Luca Tarlazzi. We've also got more phoenix designs featuring this symbol of everlasting life, which is also a very popular tattoo subject - here you can find it in fantasy, tribal and Celtic or viking versions. The fantasy world provides fairies sitting on a mushroom, as well as mermaids. The other tattoo subjects in this issue include sun and moon, old style roses and flowers and tribal and nautical stars, a beautiful series of daggers, Viking style and tribal animals, animals perched on top of skulls, butterflies and a light-hearted range of snails. The new kanji theme is the world of work with a selection of occupations such as poet, doctor, writer and so on.

In the VIP Tattoo section we have featured the tattoos of model Sophie Anderton, with her tribal phoenix and lotus flower on her back; the singer Rihanna with a gorgeous shower of little stars on the nape of her neck; the actor Colin Farrell, who has a tattoo of a cross and a motto in Latin. The singer Robbie Williams, who previously starred in this section about two years ago, makes a comeback with his new tattoo: two swallows tattooed on his stomach, also shown on the cover of his latest "Greatest Hits" CD. Finally this issue sees the start of a series on initials, beginning with the letter A that you can see combined with every other letter in the alphabet.
